COACHING AND CREATIVE SERVICES
Bring your ideas to life without leaving yourself behind.
Intuitive, compassionate guidance for multi-passionate and differently-wired writers, artists, and other dreamers.
How can I help?
Making things happen is always easier when you have the right person in your corner. Here are some ideas of what we can work on together:
- You’re looking for encouraging, ADHD-friendly structure and accountability with a project or practice.
- You want to level-up your website, newsletter, or content marketing strategy without compromising your values and voice.
- You’re not sure how to get started or where to go next with a project, whether that’s a book, a new business offering, or a personal organization system.
- You feel creatively blocked, stuck, or in a funk.
- You need feedback on something you’ve written that’s non-judgemental and encouraging, but also helps you get the job done.
No cookie-cutter advice found here…
Whether you’re working on an unruly manuscript or your website, I’ll support you in charting your own course.
Services
1:1 Coaching
These sessions deliver spacious, constructive guidance that honors your strengths and unique perspective. Bring whatever you’re making, doing, or thinking about, and we’ll collaborate to move things forward in a way that feels good.
Editing
Whether you need a final polish before you hit “send” or big-picture feedback on a cross-genre manuscript, I’ll approach your writing with compassion and a keen eye. Our focus will be on nurturing your voice (not imposing mine) and empowering your own process.
Marketing Services
I bring a values-based framework to copywriting, consulting, and web design, to help you tap into your authentic voice, form meaningful connections with your own audience, and shift past the exhaustion that often accompanies marketing.
Services can be booked individually or combined into a custom package.
Flexible support tailored to your needs
As an interdisciplinary thinker and creative person with ADHD, I chafe at writing conventions and one-size-fits-all assumptions about creative practice. I want to know the “why” behind what I’m doing and explore different ways of doing it to see if one works or feels better.
That’s also why my services are designed to be flexible and tailored to the needs of each client. Instead of using a ready-made package, how we work together will be aligned with where you’re at and what you’re looking for.
WHAT THAT MEANS:
- 1:1 sessions can be scheduled at your preferred frequency. We can set up a regular weekly or monthly session, we can meet for the duration of a specific project, or you can come and go as you need.
- Editing, copywriting, and other marketing services can be scaled to fit your needs and budget. They can also be combined with 1:1 sessions to deliver the best support for your situation.
Pricing
1:1 Sessions
A 90-minute deep-dive session is $225. This includes a recording of our session and a list of recommended resources made just for you.
For clients meeting with me on a recurring basis (whether that’s weekly, monthly, or the duration of a project), 60-minute sessions are offered at a sliding scale price of $75-$150.
Editing & Marketing SERVICES
I’ll give you a custom quote that’s tailored to the scope of your project and the level of support you’re looking for. I base pricing on estimated hours needed to complete your project.
Editing and other services can also be added à la carte to a 1:1 session. (No need to pay extra if we look at your writing/project during a session; an additional fee is only needed for editing I do outside of our sessions.)
Let’s talk!
No matter what you’re looking for, supportive dialogue will be at the heart of our work together. That starts with a free discovery call, where we’ll get to know each other and explore what support would best fit your needs and budget.
What happens next
Curious about working together? Here’s what the process looks like.
Step 1
Connection
The first step to getting started is to schedule a free discovery call. (You can also drop me a line here.)
This gives us a chance to get to know each other and explore whether we’re a good fit. We’ll also brainstorm what ways of working together would be most helpful for you.
Step 2
Plan
From there, we’ll come up with a plan that fits your needs and budget. That will cover:
- How we’ll work together
- How much things will cost
- Turnaround time and what “done” looks like, if applicable
If everything sounds good, we’ll both sign a service agreement. (Editing and other content projects also require a deposit.) From there, we’re ready to dig into the process of working together!
Holding space for vulnerability
I’ve been writing and making art since the early aughts, when my bedroom did double-duty as a zine factory. Bringing my curiosity, grief, joy, angst, and confusion to the creative process has been an essential part of how I’ve moved through life. But I’ve also had years where making art felt impossible and intensely anxiety-inducing. I’m intimately familiar with the doubt and overwhelm that can accompany creative projects or the mere sight of a blank page.
When I work with a client or teach a class, I draw on years of teaching and mentorship experience in and outside of higher education. But above all, I’m rooted in my own creative practice–not just the strategies and tools I’ve learned along the way, but a deep compassion for the vulnerability so many of us feel when it comes to expressing ourselves or communicating who we are to the world.
Making work work when you live with ADHD and chronic illness
In order to be sustainable for me, my creative practice and how I engage with projects has to ebb and flow. I have ADHD and live with chronic illness; I have so many interests and ideas, but not always the energy to match! Finding creative ways to organize my work, learning to collaborate with my ambitious, meandering mind, and building gentle, flexible routines–these are some of the commitments I bring to my personal practice in order to make it sustainable (and fun!) for me.
This is also the framework I bring to client work, because I believe it’s possible for you to achieve your creative goals while staying true to who you are and being kind to your body.
Testimonials
“Siloh makes complex and overwhelming things feel accessible and like a fun puzzle instead of something frightening. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the ways in which you broke down topics and offered models and examples, and I truly appreciate the ways you make writing feel like something we all deserve and we all can do.”
Kate Henry, PhD
“I feel like you saw my vision for this piece and provided the broad-scope perspective that I really needed. Your guiding questions helped me think through important parts of the essay and made me excited to return to drafting. You were respectful of the work that was there and encouraging of what was to come–a wonderful balance! I spent time with your questions and applied a lot of your suggestions. Even though I only shared Part I with you, I was able to use your notes through the rest of the project (I whittled down 200 pages to a 40-page essay). No small thing.”
Alissa Hattman
“Siloh ushered me from a hellhole of utter stuckness to a complete draft of my thesis by suggesting (and holding me to) a lower stakes daily writing process. With the help of Siloh’s accountability emails, I was able to get immediate help with writing problems and be in relationship with my creativity rather than demanding sentences from it like some kind of a word factory. I enjoyed Siloh’s openness to talk about whatever issues I’m having no matter the oddness, complexity, or difficulty of those writing obstacles. Thank you Siloh!”
M. Ryan
“Siloh held a supportive space for creative exploration and offered techniques and perspectives that opened my mind to new possibilities and grounded me in why I started writing in the first place. I highly recommend her services to anyone who is seeking support in their writing life.”

Frequently asked questions
Should I still schedule a discovery call if I’m not sure I’m ready to work with you?
A discovery call is a low-stakes way for us to feel out whether we’re a good fit. While you’re invited to schedule with me if you’re considering working together, it doesn’t equal a commitment to that outcome. All your questions are welcome to the space, including about whether or not the services I provide are a good match for where you’re at. With that said, if you have any questions you’d like to send my way first, you’re more than welcome to! You can do that through this form.
How does payment for 1:1 sessions work? And do you offer virtual appointments?
I hold 1:1 sessions virtually over Zoom. If you prefer, we can meet on the phone instead. Some in-person meetings may also be available for clients located in the Olympia, WA area–just let me know if that interests you.
Payment for 1:1 sessions is fairly simple: you pay for a session when you book it. While we will both sign a service agreement, it won’t require you to commit to a certain number of sessions. You can step back or take breaks as needed.
Do you do coaching packages?
I don’t currently offer ready-made coaching packages–not because there’s anything wrong with that, but because it’s just not aligned with my own process or with what works best for a lot of my clients. Instead, you will have the option of scheduling (and paying for) sessions at the frequency that works best for you. With that said, we can alway establish parameters around how long we’ll work together, especially if you’re working on a specific project. You can just let me know in our discovery call, and I can give you my best estimate of how long/how many sessions it’ll take to reach your goals.
What’s the process for editing, copywriting, and marketing projects?
- The first step is to set up a discovery call or contact me through my website.
- Once I know more about your project, and if I think I’m a good fit for what you’re looking for, I’ll send you a price quote and my estimated turnaround time. I’ll also answer any questions you have and go over what our work together would entail. We may be able to adjust the scope of the project to fit your budget. If I don’t think I can offer what you’re looking for but I know someone who might, I’ll be happy to make a referral.
- If everything sounds good to you, we’ll both sign a service agreement; I’ll send you an invoice for your deposit and get started on your project. Turnaround time varies based on the size and/or scope of your work, but you’ll know in advance of booking with me.
- Once I’m done, I’ll send you my feedback (or if applicable, a draft of your copy). You have the option of hopping on a call with me to go over any questions or ideas at no additional cost. Copywriting clients also get one round of revision.
- Once you have the finished work in hand, I’ll invoice you for the remainder of your project quote. Once payment is complete, so is our work together. But I’ll be rooting for you in your next chapter!
Do you offer discounts?
I offer sliding scale coaching sessions to clients who meet with me for multiple sessions (such as weekly or around a specific project). I’m not able to offer sliding scale pricing for one-time coaching sessions, or for editing, copy-writing, and other content-related services. However, I sometimes offer limited-time specials on services. Sign up for my newsletter to stay in the know. (Classes and group programs are also a more affordable way to work together.)
“Siloh has an incredibly supportive, non-judgmental presence. Her passion for working with words immediately melted my fears that my unimpressive work-in-progress would be an awkward imposition. I was having difficulty editing my own work, but instead of pulling out a red pen and going to town on my word count, she engaged me in a conversation about my intentions with the piece, getting to the root of what was most important to me to convey and why. She helped me get to a place of clarity that then allowed me to focus my writing in much improved ways, and to let go of what was least helpful to me. I benefited greatly from her discernment between what was simply well-written versus what would be most impactful. Her creative writing exercises and gentle guidance helped me approach my writing from a place of greater confidence and gifted me the ability to vision paths forward when I was struggling with serious bouts of writer’s block. I was critical that writing support services could feel genuinely worthwhile, but reaching out to Siloh for help was the best decision I made in a time of vulnerability and insecurity with my work.”
